Husband University uses student information to provide courses, manage access and issue personalised awards. We do not sell your personal information or use relationship details for advertising.
Who is responsible?
Husband University is preparing to open student enrolment. Operator and contact information will be confirmed before registration opens. For privacy requests, contact info@thehusbanduniversity.com.
What we collect
When registration opens, we collect your name and email to provide your account and certificates. Relationship status, years married and course interests are optional; choose “Prefer not to say” or leave optional fields blank. We do not ask about intimate experiences or your partner’s identity.
We store course purchases, assessment scores, award references and timestamps. Stripe handles payment details on its secure checkout; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Transactional emails are sent using Resend when enabled.
Why we use it
Account, payment and award information is used to fulfil your course purchase. Optional profile details are supplied voluntarily to personalise your experience and can be removed on request. Basic security information helps prevent misuse. Any future marketing would require a separate choice; signing up does not subscribe you to marketing.
Storage, providers and retention
The website uses the Sites hosting platform and Cloudflare infrastructure. Stripe processes payments and Resend sends sign-in links and certificate emails. These providers may process data in other countries under their applicable safeguards and agreements.
Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes; session cookies after 30 days. Expired access tokens are removed during routine authentication activity. Account data remains while your account is active, or until a deletion request, subject to any transaction records we must retain for legal obligations. We keep paid course and award records so you can access and verify your achievements.
Cookies and public verification
We use an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. This site does not add advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe may use cookies on its own checkout. Award verification pages display the course, issue date and reference only, never your email or relationship details. Anyone you share a certificate with can see the name printed on that PDF.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal information and withdraw optional profile information. Contact the operator using the published address above when admissions open. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
